Kanye West And Nicki Minaj To Tackle Body Shaming On ‘Yandhi’ Clearly, any Drake vs. Kanye beef hasn’t affected ‘Ye’s relationship with Young Money’s Nicki Minaj . The two are reuniting on Yandhi with a track about body shaming according to ‘Ye himself. In a video clip of an interview by
TMZ’s Raquel Harper, posted by HipHop-N-More, the rapper explains how he’s using the track to tackle “two stigmas at once.”

“Nicki just rapped on a song where we’re talking about body shaming,” Kanye tells Harper in the clip. “One of the stigmas is that men, the more people we sleep with the higher our score goes. With a woman, the more people they sleep with, people consider that to be, the lower their score goes.”

In addition to rapping about the double standard between men and women when it comes to their sex life, something ‘Ye has previously bolstered in his own music and comments toward women including Amber Rose, the song will also address shaming associated with plastic surgery.

“People get body shamed after getting plastic surgery. You hear that on the internet all the time,” he says. “Im’a say some wild shit, so brace yourself right now.” ‘Ye then trails off when asked about the concept of the song.

Kanye admitted to getting liposuction earlier this year during his breakdown at the TMZ offices. Members of the Kardashian family and Nicki Minaj have also been criticized frequently for their use of plastic surgery. At the same time, both ‘Ye and Nicki have a record of shaming other women, so it’ll be interesting to see if their new song address the harm they’ve done or is a less nuanced conversation.

We’ll have to wait and see if this collab produces something as iconic as “Monster” from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Yandhi will reportedly include features from the late XXXTentacion, Ty Dolla Sign, Migos, 6ix9ine, and more. It hits shelves on Nov. 23.

While Kanye finishes up the album, Nicki is facing a lawsuit from Tracy Chapman over an uncleared sample, and recently joined Future on “Transformers.”
